God created us male and female. We are both different and yet the same.
Galatians 3:28 says: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
"We are all one in Jesus Christ" gives each of us the same value, worth and status in Gods eyes.
When is gender relevant? It is relevant in our experiences and responses to life. It is relevant in our intimate, personal relationship with the Father.
What gender you are affects your life experience. The cultures we live in carry different responsibilities and consequences for men and women, good and bad.
Our man-woman experience is totally different and yet the same in Christ. We all experience love, hate, joy, sorrow, anger, peace etc. Yet we react and respond very differently in any situation.
This is where we develop our own individual relationship with God that is unique to anyone else.
As women there is much we have in common with other women. We can use this common ground to encourage and support each other as sisters in Christ.
I used the colour pink as it represents that I am a woman and that I think and feel as a woman so the idea of "Pink Scriptures" is just another way of saying that this blog is a woman’s experience of knowing the saviours Love.
